Cllr Jess David

A long time Moorlands resident, Jess wants to continue working with the local community to improve the local area. Jess has a young family and works in Bath. Her background is in environmental policy and her activities in the ward have included winning funding to upgrade Sandpits play- park, and planting hundreds of new trees. Jess holds regular drop-in sessions and has worked hard all year round, including reporting blocked drains and potholes. She has listened to residents' concerns about speeding traffic and parking and has helped to secure investment to improve local roads and create safer crossing points for pedestrians. Jess is also a passionate supporter of local buses and has championed the Number 8 and 4 bus services as essential for Moorlands. Looking forward, she will work with residents across the ward to build upon the progress of the past four years. Jess wants to focus on making sure every voice is heard, especially for those with accessibility needs or struggling with the cost of living. Jess is a regular Bath Half participant and enjoys walking all around the local area and supporting Bath’s fantastic independent shops.
