Cllr Lucy Hodge
|Address:||Audley House, Park Gardens, Bath, BA1 2XP|
Lucy moved to Bath 15 years ago with her husband and three children, who attend senior school in the city and further education. Having been a councillor for 4 years, she is honoured to continue to represent Lansdown. She worked for fifteen years as an intensive care pharmacist in NHS hospitals, mostly in London, and more recently as a vaccinator at the Bath Race Course. Lucy is determined to improve access to local democracy and to find ways to improve Council services and help local residents solve problems. Lucy cares about our city’s approach to traffic and its impact on quality of life and how the Council can enable green choices, campaigning to save and extend bus services. She has called for improvements to enable safe walking and cycling, successfully making the case for two new pedestrian crossings in Lansdown. Through her role on three Council Committees (Planning, Audit and Corporate Scrutiny), she has made it simpler for planning decisions to be questioned and brought about changes to make the Council’s finances easier to understand. As Chair of the Bath Society for Young Musicians, she is a supporter of access to sociable music for all our young people. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys jogging, gardening and playing the bassoon and saxophone in local groups. She will continue to be proactive and determined in taking forward issues on behalf of the Lansdown community.
