Cllr Michael Auton

Michael lives on Millards Hill in Midsomer Norton. He has worked in Midsomer Norton as a Village Agent, helping to make sure local families and older people had access to health and wellbeing support and could live independently. During the Covid pandemic, Michael led a group of 40 local volunteers to make and distribute fabric face masks for care workers in Midsomer Norton and beyond. He also volunteered with the B&NES Community Hub, helping with shopping, prescription pick up and supporting people living on their own. Michael was volunteer Fundraising Manager for Peasedown Party in the Park for eight years, one of the largest music events in the Somer Valley.
