Cllr Shaun Stephenson-McGall
|Address:||123 Green Vale Drive, Timsbury, Bath, BA2 0NR|
With two and a half decades of public service experience, including 24 years as a B&NES councillor, a trustee of the Avon Pension Fund, and Governor of Bath Spa University and Bath College, Shaun has the skills, knowledge and expertise to deliver on the priorities of residents. Shaun moved to Timsbury nine years ago with his husband, Sean, who is also a Timsbury Parish Councillor; very confusing I know! They live on Greenvale Drive, with their two cats, Hero and Cougar. Shaun primarily works from home for the University of Bath as the Student Engagement Manager, and they love village life. He grew up in South Devon and in Karachi, Pakistan. Shaun was a keen rugby player, and when he graduated from Bath Spa University, he joined local side Stothert and Pitt RFC, where he played for over 20 years. He also enjoys swimming, cycling and narrow boat holidays on the canals. Shaun will focus on improving road safety in the village, improving local bus services, and tackling the climate emergency, while ensuring any changes are community-led.
